Orange juice recalled in New Jersey

Under New Jersey laws, companies are expected to ensure that their products are not dangerous to consumers. In particular, companies have a duty to prevent foreseeable harm to consumers and to properly warn consumers of the dangers of the product. While most companies follow these rules, dangerous products can still make their way into the New Jersey stream of commerce.

Defective and dangerous products can cause serious accidents and leave consumers with serious injuries that require medical treatment. Sometimes, a product recall can help to avoid injuries once a company is made aware of a dangerous situation.

Recently, orange juice that was sold in New Jersey has been recalled by the company. According to reports, the juice had been accidentally mixed with milk during the manufacturing process. Dairy milk can be a dangerous allergen for some residents. According to the Food and Drug Administration, the tainted orange juice was being sold in food service and retail locations in several states under multiple brand names. Consumers are urged to return any purchased orange juice made by Lehigh Valley Dairy. They will receive an exchange or refund.

When dangerous products do make it to the marketplace in New Jersey, consumers who suffer injuries should know that they have legal rights. Through a products liability suit, people can hold companies liable for the damage that their products have caused. This compensation can help consumers recover from their injuries by covering medical expenses, lost wages and more.

While this compensation cannot take away the emotional pain caused by the accident, it can help to ensure that people are not financially ruined because of the expenses of an accident. Furthermore, a products liability suit can help bring attention to dangerous and defective products, which will hopefully prevent additional consumers from getting hurt.
